Implementing the Provincial Party Committee's ActionProgram on leading, directing to promote administrative reform, improve PCI andPAPI indicators, create an open and healthy investment environment, in 2017,the Provincial People's Committee implemented Nam Ky administrative outline.Following the direction of the province, departments, branches and localitiesthoroughly grasp and implement the contents of the program and administrativereform tasks. For example, the project of connecting Highway 1 (Dong My) toHoa Hiep Industrial Area with an implementation volume of about 82%, it isexpected the whole project to be completed in the next May; the project ofPhuoc Tan - Bai Nga route (the section passing Dong Be and Phuoc Tan villages,Hoa Tam commune), is expected to be completed by the end of 2020; Hoa TamResettlement Area project, the contractor is focusing on construction tocomplete this year; the project of revetment preventing erosion of the southbank of Da Rang river; Ke project to prevent erosion along Ro hamlet area;infrastructure project of the new urban area in the South of Tuy Hoa; Projectof connecting Highway 1 (Phu Khe) to Hoa Tam Industrial Area etc.

Mr. Le Van Thanh, Head of Phu Yen Economic ZoneManagement Board said: For deploying projects, the province has mobilized manyresources to invest in construction and initially formed the technical infrastructuresystem of the economic area, facilitating investment attraction and promotion.

In which, there are big investment projects, such as the SolarPower Plant (SOLAR CELLS TTG) project in Hoa Hiep 1 Industrial Park invested byTin Thanh Group Co., Ltd., with total investment capital is estimated at 2,500billion VND.

The Representative of Miramar Textile Co., Ltd. (Tuy Hoa City) said that during the projectimplementation, the company has received enthusiastic support and guidance fromthe Management Board of Phu Yen Economic Zone as well as related departments. As a result, the company'sgarment processing factory has come into operation on schedule.

"Bright colors" in tourism and agriculturedevelopment

Implementing the Provincial Party Committee's ActionProgram 05 on investment and development to make tourism an important economicsector, the province has mobilized many resources to invest in infrastructurefor tourism development, especially road and air traffic infrastructure; promotetourism promotion; Invest in embellishing relics and landscapes etc… The workon attracting and speeding up the investment progress of tourist sites andspots also achieved positive results, with many high-class resorts to operate,which creates Phu Yen tourism picture with many bright colors. The number oftourists coming to Phu Yen from 2016-2018, grows steadily from 15-30% / year.In 2016, more than 1.17 million times; more than 1.4 million times in 2017 and morethan 1.6 million times in 2018 etc… Many tourists come, it means that tourismrevenue also increases through the use of travel services and expenses duringthe stay. Tourism revenue in 2018 reached more than 1,550 billion VND, up 25%compared to 2017.
