The PPC hasjust held a conference to announce the results of the District and departmentcompetitiveness index (DDCI) in 2019.

The resultannounced at the conference showed that the DDCI of departments and agencieshad an average score of 55.47 points. The leading unit of the block ofdepartments is the Department of Foreign Affairs with 68.84 points; the secondand third place respectively are the Department of Justice with 66,18 points andthe Department of Education and Training with 63.19 points.
For the blockof localities, the average point of the whole block is 50.85 points. Son Hoadistrict is the leading one in the ranking with 62.87 points, followed by PhuHoa district with 57.08 points and Dong Hoa district with 56.73 points.
Addressing atthe conference, PPC Chairman Pham Dai Duong emphasized that the DDCI result in2019 are the basis for departments, units and localities to know, learn fromexperience and proactively propose solutions for working efficiently in thefuture. Simultaneously, it is also a basis to help provincial leaders identifybottlenecks in their direction and administration work. Thereby, focusing onsolving institutional and organizational bottlenecks as well as cadre worktimely and effectively; contributing to a strong breakthrough in improving theinvestment and business environment; promoting the quality of economicmanagement, creating a driving force for innovation and raising thecompetitiveness of Phu Yen in the future.
