With the theme "Phu Yen - An attractive and friendlydestination", the series of cultural, sports and tourism activities of theCultural and Tourism Week this year has taken place excitingly, attractively,with new and unique features that attractted a large number of local people,visitors to join and left a good impression.

Bai Choi Art Festival this year, with the participation of 8mass art groups (over 200 artisans and actors) of the districts, towns, citiesand armed forces in the province who performed the special songs and Bai Choifascinating novelette, has left many feelings for viewers. The highlight of thefestival was the appearance of many new songs with new lyrics which revealedthe vitality of the art form typical of the Central region. Thereby, the valuesof the Cardinal Art - the intangible cultural heritage of humanity wereintroduced and spread to the community.

Coming to the space of Phu Yen Cultural - Tourism Week 2019,visitors would experience cultural features, meaningful sports tourismactivities and enjoy delicious food with artistic enhancement as well as fastparties, specialties in the Tourism - Food and Specialty Fair etc.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People'sCommittee, Head of Phu Yen Tourism Development Steering Committee Phan DinhPhung, Phu Yen Tourism - Culture Week 2019 brought Phu Yen residents andtourists present in Tuy Hoa City the excited atmosphere and experiences throughmany cultural, sports and tourist activities, while giving visitors a clearerview of Phu Yen tourism potential, about the cultural traditions of peopleliving on this land. Thereby promoted and introduced special tourism productson the image of Phu Yen's country and people to domestic and foreign tourists,created a new atmosphere, new image for Phu Yen tourism and many key areas inthe province, contributed to promoting Phu Yen tourism development commensuratewith the people's potentials, advantages and expectations.

Phu Yen Tourism - Culture Week had closed but it opened a newatmosphere for the peak tourist season. According to the Tourism ManagementDepartment (Phu Yen Department of Culture and Tourism), during theCultural-Tourism Week (31 / 3-5 / 4), Phu Yen Tourism had attracted about45,550 visitors, of which about 850 international visitors; Room usage capacitywas about 60%, of which coastal hotels reach a capacity of about 80-90%.Forecasting, during the holidays of April 30, May 1 as well as the upcomingpeak tourist season, Phu Yen Tourism will welcome many visitors to resort products,islands and guest room capacity of many hotels will increase highly over thesame period.
