Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, accompanied by a high-level Vietnamese delegation, visited the Embassy of Vietnam in China on April 25 on the occasion of his attendance at the second Belt and Road Forum in Beijing.

Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi said the embassy has played as a bridge for the diplomatic ties between the two countries, especially in economic diplomacy, which helps maintain and promote the bilateral relations in a stable and healthy manner.

PM Phuc recognised the embassy’s efforts in implementing the Party and State’s foreign policies, economic diplomacy, and citizen protection.

He asked the embassy to strengthen economic, trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and China, contributing to balancing the bilateral trade.

The embassy is also expected to make active contributions to the defence of national independence and territorial sovereignty as well as the creation of a peaceful environment for the national economic development.

He called on the embassy staff to promote the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China, bringing practical benefits for the two peoples.
