Reports at the working sessions showed that, the total areaof annual crops in the city in the first quarter of 2019 was more than 3,120ha; the area of sowed winter-spring rice was nearly 1,980 ha; fisheryexploitation output was more than 1,156 tons, up 8.5% over the same period. Inwhich, tuna fishing was 508 tons, up 26.4 tons; industrial production value surpassedVND 1,807 billion, up 8.7% over the same period; Budget revenue was more thanVND 174.5 billion, reaching 20.1% of the estimate assigned.

The city has well organized the cultural and artisticactivities to welcome the Lunar New Year; received, mobilized and presentedmore than 1,500 gifts for difficult cases; built a plan to organize activitiesin the Culture-Tourism Week, Street Music Festival in 2019. The situation of nationaldefense-security was maintained and passed on soldiers and met 100% of thetarget.

In particular, the city has focused on clearing the ground toimplement many large projects such as the stage 2 of Bach Dang embankment,Nguyen Huu Tho street, technical infrastructure of South Phu Yen economic zone,etc ... For the stage 2 of Bach Dang Street project, the City Land FundDevelopment Center cooperates with related wards to carry out inventory andmeasurement of 1,061 / 1,069 households and 3 organizations, reaching 99.5% ofthe plan.

The wards are carrying out considering the origin and time ofland use, types of land and fortune of inventoried households. Clearing theground of South Phu Yen economic zone technical infrastructure project is beingpaused and waited for the opinions of superiors to have the basis to continueimplementing under regulations.

Regarding the key tasks in the coming time, the city willfocus on solving problems in the process of implementing projects to celebrate30 years of re-establishment of the province; continue to deploy the tasksdirected by the PPC; carry out well the state management on land and urbanorder; enhance the administrative reform.

At the working session, Tuy Hoa City leaders proposed the PPCto direct the Department of Construction deploys the plan of the westernsubdivision of the city adjacent to the highway 1 bypass in Dong Hoa and Tay Hoadistrict to build basis for area expansion and urban renewal; allows thelocality to get special mechanisms on human resources to implement largeprojects in the area.

Delivering a speech at the meeting, Mr. Pham Dai Duong, PPC Chairmanhighly appreciated the results of Tuy Hoa City in recent years. Regarding theorientations in the coming time, he proposed Tuy Hoa city to make more effortsin clearing the ground to deploy large projects in the area; actively to coordinatewith provincial departments and agencies to promptly remove obstacles toprojects and pay more attention to urban order; to relocate soon householdsaffected by Tho Vuc landfill, Nhan mountain area to new residences ...
