The Provincial Party Committeehas just held the 17th meeting to evaluate the work of the first 6months of 2019 and deploy the tasks of the last 6 months of the year; givingcomments on the draft plan of the party congress of all levels toward the 17thProvincial Party Congress, 2020-2025 term; Political reporting outline of theprovincial Party Congress XVII and announcing decisions of the Secretariat onappointing members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

The preliminary report of the first 6 months of 2019 of theProvincial Party Committee said: To be given timely attention, support andassistance of the Central Government, the focus on the efforts of the wholepolitical system and the entire people in leadership , directing andimplementing tasks, the province has achieved many positive results in allfields. In the last 6 months of the year, the province focuses on key economic,cultural, social, external relations, building government and Fatherland Front,mass organizations, striving to achieve and exceed targets and tasks in 2019according to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, the delegates focused on discussing andcommenting on the personnel work at the Party Committee at all levels for the2020-2025 term, specifically on the structure, the number of party committee membersat the provincial, districts and communes levels, especially in districts andcommunes with large population sizes; communes and wards in coastal andmountainous areas; areas with important positions in security and defense; theimplementation of the party committee secretary is also the head of thecommunal, village, and communal party committee secretary as the chairman ofthe commune People's Committee at the same time... according to the centralregulations; discussing the theme of the meeting; targets, tasks and solutionsproposed in the draft outline of the political report of the 17th ProvincialParty Congress, which focuses on basic targets and breakthrough solutions suchas economic growth sacrifice; new rural construction; environmental management;improving the quality of life for people ...

At the conference, Secretary of the Provincial PartyCommittee Huynh Tan Viet handed over the decisions of the Party CentralCommittee Secretariat on the appointment of four comrades to participate in theExecutive Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee XVI, term 2015-2020,including: Pham Van Bay, Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism;Le Thanh Dong, Director of the Department of Finance; Cao Dinh Huy, Director ofthe Management Board of construction investment projects in the province; DangNgoc Anh, Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of Dong Xuan DistrictPeople's Council.
