Mr. NguyenDanh Hanh, Deputy Head of Phu Yen Relics Management Department (Department ofCulture – Sports - Tourism) said: The Uncle Ho church was built by Phu YenProvincial Party Committee in early September 1969 in Da slope, Son Dinhcommune, when received news of President Ho Chi Minh's death. This is also theplace to hold a memorial ceremony for Uncle Ho on September 9, 1969 and a placefor the people of Phu Yen to remember Uncle Ho during the anti-Americanresistance period. The church was built with forest trees and thatched roofs.
In 2003, themonument was restored and embellished in a campus of over 5,000m2,right next to DT643. In addition, in this base area, there are relics: Phu YenProvincial Party Committee, Provincial Revolutionary People's Committee,National Committee for Liberation Front, Spring Hall, provincial Propaganda and Training office,Provincial Party school, Security Board Department, Provincial Team office,Military Workshop 200, Truc Bach Hospital and Phu Yen Medical School.
