Urgently completing the traffic safety system project of Dinh Ong bridge

Comrades of Huynh Tan Viet, Commissioner of the Party CentralCommittee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of theprovincial People's Council; Nguyen Chi Hien, Member of the provincial PartyStanding Committee cum PPC Standing Vice Chairman and leaders of theTransportation Department, the Management Board of the provincial constructioninvestment projects have examined the construction of Dinh Ong bridge.

Provincial leaders and departments examining construction of Dinh Ong bridge project

According tothe provincial Management Board of construction investment projects (theproject investor), thanks to efforts in construction, Dinh Ong bridge has beenopened to traffic. The unit is implementing a number of items to complete theproject at the intersection adjacent to the national highway 25 and highway 29.It is expected that on June 20th, the project will be attached tothe sign of celebrating 30yearsof re-establishment of Phu Yen province.

Dinh Ongbridge belongs to the project of flood prevention and rescue route whichconnects the districts of Tay Hoa, Phu Hoa, Tuy An and Tuy Hoa city. It haslength of more than 1,4km, crossing Ba river and connecting Phu Hoa districtand Tay Hoa district. The project has a total investment of over 500 billiondongs from the central budget and provincial budget; in which construction costis nearly 320 billion dongs.

Directing atthe construction site, comrade Huynh Tan Viet highly appreciated efforts of theinvestor as well as construction units in strengthening personnel and materialsto speed up the progress and open the bridge. In order to complete the projecton the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the provincialre-establishment, he requested construction units to soon complete the trafficsafety system, especially at two intersections with the national highway 25 andhighway 29; ensuring safety for vehicles in travelling.
